On May 17th , 2022 the EFFECTOR project organized the VIP Day which was held in Toulon, France. In total, 105 people attended the event inlcuding a wide range of European stakeholders such as industrials, maritime authorities and administrations, scientific and technological institutions, DG Mare, DG Home, EMSA, FRONTEX.
Supported by movies showing the execution of the French trials that took place the week before, the VIP Day was the venue to visit the EFFECTOR solution in the French MRCC in La Garde (nearby Toulon), to show the added value of EFFECTOR in the scenarios played during the French trials, and finally to put EFFECTOR in the context of the EU’s maritime and innovation strategies during a panel discussion.
